Putting First Things First
The successful person has the habit of doing the things failures don’t like to do.
They don’t like doing them either necessarily. But their disliking is subordinated to the strength of their purpose.”
E.M.Gray
Here is another reason to know your “PURPOSE.” Your purpose will give you strength to do the things you don’t like doing.
Many salespeople don’t like to make phone calls. Many of us can’t get ourselves to ask for referrals. Some of us don’t like taking turns.
Are there things you don’t like to do for one reason or another?
If those things are part of your main job and they help you achieve your purpose, get yourself to do them. You don’t want to be a failure, do you?
Stay focused!
The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.”
Stephen Covey
